Vision and Plan of the Temple

History of the Association
Tuen Mun Baptist Church was established on April 21, 1996 and has a history of more than 20 years. It is one of the member churches of the Hong Kong Baptist Convention. The number of congregants has grown from 13 at the beginning to more than 300 today.
The Association has three gospel halls, including: Wing Yan Gospel Hall, Chong Yan Gospel Hall and Wah Yan Gospel Hall, located in Kwun Tong, Mong Kok and Tin Shui Wai respectively; Chong Yan Gospel Hall was established as a church in 2007 and continues to shine for the Lord.
In addition, adhering to the spirit of Christ and the Baptist philosophy of running schools, the Association undertook a kindergarten in Tin Shui Wai in 2007 and renamed it "Baptist Wah Yan Kindergarten" to educate the next generation with the love of Christ and provide a high-quality Christian kindergarten for young children in the area.
In the past 20 years, our association has followed the Lord's great commission and worked hard to spread the gospel. We have spared no effort in caring for the society and serving the people. Our association takes the cell group as our pastoral core and is also the key to our development.

Our Vision
"Win Tuen Mun for the Lord and move towards a church that glorifies God"
Our church is a church that "lives by the Spirit and walks by the Spirit". Based on the teachings of the Bible, we hope to build a church that can glorify God and win Tuen Mun for the Lord.
In 1 Peter 4:11 it says, "If anyone speaks, let him speak according to the oracles of God; if anyone serves, let him do so as God supplies his power, so that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To Him belongs the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen."

Temple Construction Plan
As the number of people attending the gatherings continued to grow, in order to fulfill the vision God had given us, we applied to the government for land to build a temple in 2003. In 2009, the Lands Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government reserved Tuen Mun TMTL488, a land of about 2,200 square meters for the construction of a church and a comprehensive service building. We hope to provide not only a venue for church worship and activities, but also plan to provide different social services and facilities according to the needs of residents in Tuen Mun and New Territories West to enhance the quality of community life.

The temple and integrated service building project is divided into three main projects
